AdWords Vs the World – Choosing the Best Marketing Tool
With the incredible success of Google AdWords, the market is a flush with other companies offering paid advertising through PPC (pay per click). Is it best to go with AdWords or is it best to try others?
Competition is ever increasing online, and as it does, the price increases with it. There are only a limited number of spots to advertise, and as such, the person willing to pay the most will generally win.
Google AdWords is the most used PPC Engine. There are advertisers paying as much as $ 100 a click for certain keywords. Thankfully (for us as Affiliate Marketers/Small Business Owners) the big businesses haven’t really started to understand how powerful internet marketing is. However, when they do, expect the price to skyrocket.
So, with that said, should you use the cheaper lower tier PPC companies? Keywords costing $ 5 a click could cost as little as $ 0.05! Surely only a idiot would spend 100x the price. However, there is a reason Google is so expensive, and why so many people use it.
Imagine if I offered to advertise for you. I will go to a shopping center and speak to people about your product. You pay me 10 cents for every person I speak to, but you don’t get to see me doing it. You have to totally trust me when I tell you how many people I have spoken to. Would you do it? Of course you wouldn’t! Why would you trust me? I could spend the time lounging around smoking and say that I spoke to a million people.
When you advertise on websites, rather than using a Search Network, you are trusting that people aren’t having their friends and family click your ads to make them money. While Google spends a fortune analyzing all clicks, smaller companies don’t have the resources to do so. Also, a fair few companies have been shown to use “bots” to generate clicks.
Quite often I receive refunds from Google because of suspicious clicks. I have never received the same discount from the smaller companies without me literally threatening to never use their service again.
Now, I’m not saying that you should never use other PPC companies’, however, until you have a lot of experience under your belt, you should stick with Google. You need to have the experience to know when high clicks but low sales are because of your ad copy, rather than a con artist taking your money.
There are ways to make AdWords cheaper. Perfecting your advertisements through split testing will allow you to massively increase your CTR (Click Through Ratio). Google rewards effective advertisements with cheaper prices. Instead of trying to find cheaper places to advertise, spend the time perfecting your art. If you are having a very hard time making a profit because a keyword is just too expensive, then use another keyword. Long Tail keywords are keywords with relatively low monthly search traffic, but combined with many others can give you huge traffic for a very low price. Long tail keywords are generally much more targeted that the broader, more expensive keywords. Use them!

What Is The Most excellent And Least expensive Way To Learn Affiliate Marketing and Harvest Riches On The World Wide Web
Affiliate marketing is the pursuit of selling on the World wide web. In essence, you become the unsalaried advertising agency for a company willing to pay you a cut if you can successfully move their goods. When I say unpaid, I am assuming you launch the endeavor on your own without an advance payment from the dealer. If you do it well, you will be paid in commissions and lots of them.
Youâll be in control of creating everything from the beginning. Youâll presumably need to formulate a sales page. This is to urge the prospect to buy. Do you know anything about originating sales pages? Do you know how to lay out a webpage? These are two necessary talents youâll need to successfully promote a product. This, in effect, is your business establishment that sells goods.
To dream up a sales page, you will first want to view what your competitors are doing. What do you admire about their pages? What donât you like? Are there any ideas you could pirate and put on your own webpage? Would you buy from their page? What would you redo so you yourself would buy? Make sure you include those ideas into your own site.
The next process will be to advertise your website or store. Since you probably canât clash with the likes of Sears or Snap On Tools, youâll want to either find a product where you donât compete, or find a very small niche. After all, Sears and Home Depot not only bring in hundreds of millions of dollars, they pay out hundreds of millions. The only way you can possibly hope to compete is to find a micro niche and put into use all your energies towards that. Forexample, you probably canât battle on tools, but you might be able to center on a distinct tool, like a Black and Decker ? inch drill and try to sell that. Home Depot or Sears, even with their huge budgets would never center on such a select market. Keep in mind, hundreds of thousands of folk will be buying a drill next year. If you can make just $ 5 each on 10 to 15 of them a day, you havemade more than many people make in a year. If you can do that on 5 different articles youâll make over $ 100,000 a year income. Before you start getting cynical ideas in your head about moving 10 drills a day, bear in mind there areroughly 300 MILLION people in the US alone. If you can find an item that ships overseas, that figure balloons into the BILLIONS.
Once you have defined your advertising offensive, youâll need to build traffic. You can do this in any number of ways. You could try running pay-per-click ads with Google, Bing or even Facebook, you could work to get your website listed at the top of the search results or you could even create videos of product personal usage and help buyers to buy from your website.This will work, youjust need toget the hang of how to do it.
So back to thebasic question, âHow do you learn affiliate marketing?â. There are numerous e-books and forums in existence where the pros share their successes. Some even sell classes that tell you the stories of their success. Butreally, this is the 21st century. The best way to learn is show and tell. Attempt to find a video course so you can watch, rewind and watch it again until you learn the lesson.

The beauty of this is how “Wonderful” this concept is to help you make money. In fact, your imagination is the limit to what people out there want. The flip side to this is what do you want to provide them? Once you decide what you want to provide or sell (and be sure you have a passion for it as I discussed in my 6 P’s of Business Success), then you are on the way to navigating the ” Wacky World Wide Web Wonderful Waters ” and using it to create a successful Affiliate Marketing on-line business and enjoying the experience.
