Finding Good Affiliate Marketing and Newsletter For Your Business

Did you know that an average individual would need to see a product at least seven times before deciding to buy it? In other words, you as an affiliate will have to show the person your product so many times before they can decide to purchase it. A great way to get them to see your product would be through a newsletter. The reason that newsletters work better than random emails because the individual has to sign up for the newsletter and this way you are not sending them spam. Hence, they will pay attention to what you have to say.

You can take their email addresses when they visit your website and then you can make them come back through your newsletter. You can keep repeating your product offer in the newsletter. If they seem not interested in the product that you are offering them then you can offer them some other of your products. Soon enough, they will begin to purchase and you will begin to get the commission.

Your newsletter is the only point of contact that you have after the person leaves your website. You can use it to create a relationship with your prospect. The logic is simple enough. Anybody is more likely to purchase from someone they know instead of a complete stranger. You can build your name and reputation in their eyes through your newsletter. You can do this by including informative content in your newsletter, useful articles on relevant subjects and such other stuff.

Use the correct tools when you are running a newsletter. Avoid using tools such as Microsoft Outlook. You can commit serious mistakes such as sending too many emails in one go and this can cause your web host to shut you down. Besides that, it can also be quite time consuming and tedious. Instead of that, you can use aweber or any other similar auto responder service. This way you can create forms for signing up on your website. The service adds or removes subscribers automatically and you can set up the schedule as to when you want the messages to go. You can schedule your messages that are not time sensitive.

For example, you can set up the newsletter for the first message and the second and so on. Then, you can of course send newsletters that offer specific holiday promotions or such offers. You can offer your newsletter for free when they sign up at your website. If they find interesting content on your website then they will surely like to receive your newsletter. The newsletter will help you stay in touch with your prospect and you will soon see the results.

Internet Marketing With the Wealthy Affiliate University

Internet Marketing is an extremely lucrative career if pursued earnestly and in the right ways, however it is no get rich quick scheme, which is often the case put forward by so many of the “Guru’s” that have set themselves up and unfortunately give our profession a bad name.

Fortunately for us there are some extremely good, and strangely oftentimes free resources out there that we can use to help us unravel the mysteries of SEO, Blogging, Affiliate Marketing and article writing. Ezine which is where I write and you are reading this is an extremely popular site and one of the best for submitting articles to since it is SEO optimized and gives great power to the back links that you get from the bio’s attached to each article you submit, and best of all from the writers perspective it is free to join. There are many other similar sites available and you can easily perform a web search to find a publisher that suits your needs and style of writing.

The big question is where do we go to find out which sites can be helpful and which tools will be of use in setting us along the right road to Internet marketing success? I have chosen to do my Internet Marketing with the Wealthy Affiliate University, but at the same time I am also participating in Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge. The 30 Day Challenge is a free to enter training program which runs each year from the 1st August for 30 days, The idea of the challenge is to get you set up to the point where you have earned your first $ 10 on-line. There is also no marketing performed by Ed Dale’s team during the course of the challenge.

I have found this combination to be extremely helpful in learning all of the pitfalls and hurdles to be taken and/or avoided in managing to start up an Internet Marketing career. The 30 day challenge gives the initial training and impetus and the Wealthy Affiliate University provides the tools needed to perform most of the required tasks as well as containing a forum where you can discuss topics of difficulty or interest with the owners or any of the more experienced marketers. This is particularly useful for the beginner, but also for the experienced marketer with challenges again I should point out that there are other similar courses available. There are many other places where you might get similar facilities, but I cannot  vouch for them. When you make your selection  please ensure that you choose a reputable company that does not attempt to scam either its members nor the public with high pressure tactics and up-sells.

The Author Stephen Parkin is a member of the Wealthy Affiliate University and the co owner, with his wife Shauna La Pierre, of Pine Grove Stable in Nova Scotia Canada. As well as the stable which is run along Classical Dressage Training lines he is interested in Internet Marketing, Photography, Classical Guitar and his two dogs (a border collie and a labrador retriever).

Plan Ahead to Start Your Affiliate Marketing Business

You have decided to start an internet business. Affiliate marketing is a good choice for the beginner because you do not have to carry stock or have a product. It is cheap to set up and easy to learn.

You need to build a list and you need a website, a hosting service and an auto responder. At first, you will be sending your customers to a sales page after they opt-in to your email or newsletter list.

I would suggest starting with a Clickbank product because they do most of the work for you and collect your payments. They have plenty of statistics for you to find the best selling products. It is a good idea to start with the most popular products until you learn the system.

When you have a viable topic, a list of keywords, and a customer profile, you can start to plan your opt-in page and your newsletter.

You need to have some reason for people to give you their email address. A free gift, report or eBook is the usual incentive. It has to be something of value. You are trying to establish your reputation for quality and service, so some old eBook that has been around the net for years is not suitable. It is best if you have your own report but a good quality report from an expert is good.

You need to plan where you will send your new subscriber, how often you will send newsletters and how often you will send a sales pitch. It is important to establish a rapport with your potential customer. Make your newsletter full of quality information and do not have a blatant sales pitch in every one. It takes time to establish trust but it will be worth a lot of money to you.

You need to remember whom you are talking to, in your newsletter and on your opt-in page. Personalise your copy so your potential customer feels as if you are talking to them personally, not to the general public. The best approach is to solve a problem for them. Tell them how you understand the problem and then give them the solution. Do not sell the product here that is why you have a separate sales page. You should try to create interest or curiosity and leave it to the sales page to sell the products for you.

Once you have a loyal following you will be able to offer more quality products at a higher price point and your list will begin to support you. That is what internet marketing is all about.

Relationship Building With Your Prospects in Affiliate Marketing

Your success in affiliate marketing will center in two major areas; first, the amount of effort and time invested in learning and properly marketing your products, and, second, the relationships that you will be able to build not only with the customers, but also with the merchants and sub-affiliates which you recruit. Don’t look at people mostly as “dollar signs”; you must take sincere interest in them as people if you are to expect their loyalty and cooperation in helping you build your business.

Here are some important points to consider as you develop these relationships;

1) Try making favorable first impressions. Your website should be attractive, well organized and carefully thought out. Navigation should be easy, with attractive and original content. Leave options for comments and e-mail opt-ins. Answer questions thoroughly and in a timely manner .Media such as audio and video are a plus.

2) Personalize your email communications. Write your correspondence as if you were talking to a friend. Do not push products in your e-mails. These should be used to draw the interest of your customer, and establish your knowledge and authority in related subjects. Let the product more or less sell itself.

3) Try to elicit feedback from your customers in a personal way. For example, you can use a survey form to elicit responses from your customers. People are usually quite willing to answer surveys. These responses will guide your efforts as to how to present your product to entice the customer in a more effective manner.

4) After the sale, be sure to send a “Thank You” note or else refer the customer to a “Thank You” page. Be sure to leave contact info in case there are any issues with the product. If possible, a “Thank You” phone call would be ideal.

5) Establish an honest presence. Do not try to “short-change”. If a customer wants a refund, give it promptly without creating a conflict or argument. A well handled customer complaint can sometimes result in the customer buying one of your other products or referring other customers to your business. Give the customer more than what he or she expects, and your business will grow steadily.

These points are important in helping you build the foundation of your business. For further information, CLICK HERE: http://www.affiliatemarketing-one-0-one.com

Affiliate Marketing Basics – Four Things a Beginner Should Know

As I’ve said in my blog, Affiliate Marketing is probably the best, easiest and fastest way to get an internet business up and running. And, as I said, the best way to learn the business is to invest in a training course, preferably one that offers step-by-step instructions on what to do, how to do it (this one’s really important!), and when to do it. You can visit my website to see the one that I use myself.

But before you do that, there are a few things that you need to know about this business.

1) THIS IS A BUSINESS. You’ll need to approach it like one. That means, among other things, you need to take a few minutes to decide just what it is you want to accomplish, and how much work you’re willing to put in. Make some goals, plan your work, and work your plan. I know that you’ve seen offers claiming that you can make millions and work 15 minutes a week. Really?! If you’re trying to make an extra fifty bucks a week, maybe that’s all the effort you need. But if you’re trying to make real money, enough to, say, support a family in style, then I’m afraid you’re gonna have to actually work at this. That said, you won’t have to work 8 or 10 hours a day. But be prepared to give this a few hours (yes, hours, not minutes) a week.

2) This Is Not A Get-Rich-Quick Scheme. Just like anything else in life, anything worth having is worth waiting for and working towards. If you know someone who’s making big money as a lawyer, or doctor, or business owner, I promise you that their success did not come overnight. On the other hand, one of the absolute best things about Affiliate Marketing is that you don’t need 4 years of college plus 3 years of law school or 10 years of medical school and residency before things start to happen. The curve here is much, much shorter. You can see real results in months, not years. Just don’t expect to see success in days.

3) There Will Be Some Costs. If you select a training program, there are costs. If you want to make money on the internet, you’ll need a presence on the internet. That means you’ll need to register a domain (about $ 10 – $ 20 per year, per domain), host it (about $ 5 – $ 10 per month), and, depending on how your model is structured, maybe an autoresponder (about $ 20 per month). That said, the startup costs of an Internet Affiliate Marketing business (about $ 50) are WAY less than the startup cost for a traditional brick & mortar business. So if you’re balking at $ 50 to start a business that could, in less than a year, net you $ 3000 to $ 5000 per month (conservatively), consider that just the franchise fee for most fast-food chains is between $ 30,000 and $ 70,000! And that doesn’t include the building. Or the french-fry machine!

4) This Requires Discipline. To make money as an affiliate marketer, you have to take action, do the work, and keep doing the work. Even when it looks like it’ll never work. Keep at it. Besides, if it took you a whole year to start making $ 5000 a month, ask yourself, do you make $ 5000 a month at your day job? And if you do, how long did it take you to get to that point? I’ll bet it took longer than a few months!

So be disciplined, and be optimistic, and keep working on it. The money will come before you know it! Just keep in mind, every person making a living online today has, at one point asked himself, “What the heck is a blog?!” But, and this is what’s important, they found out, and kept moving forward!

Steve Griffin is the author of Real Home Business Trends, a blog dedicated to de-mystifying home based business. He cuts through the double-speak and technical jargon, and explains, in plain English, just how to get an internet business up and running from the ground up. How Do I Set Up My Affiliate Marketing Campaign?

So by now you have found a product that you want to promote and have a market audience in mind. You have the answer to their problems. You are eager to get started. Now how do you build a campaign in order to sell to them easily, well you might want to think about this one real hard…

You Need a Sales Process Map

What I mean by this is that you have to map out the paths that people will take in order to get to the product you are promoting. Will they read an article you are promoting, click on a link, end up on your page, and then get sent to the product’s pitch page? What will their state of mind be as they go along this path? Figure out what works best for your product and your audience. Every combination is unique.

Traffic Strategies and Consistency

You have to have some traffic generation strategies in place. How are you going to send people to your site or your product’s pitch page? You can use a number of ways like creating videos, PPC, paid, articles, classifieds, etc. Those are just some ways you can generate traffic. The part you should really focus on though is being consistent and persistent. Keep on doing this every day. If you post on forums, then post every day. You can’t just take a shower once, you must do it every day. If not, you will smell bad.

Building Destinations Depending on their State

Is your audience interested in your product or do they have a desire to get it right now? These are the types of things you should know about your target audience. If your audience was just interested in what you had to buy, then you obviously wouldn’t send them to the pitch page. You would need to have a page of your own where you get their name and email address. Then you have a chance to shape (or whip) them into buying what you have to offer. Send them to different places depending on their state of mind.

The Incorporation

Incorporate your marketing campaign into your daily schedule (I bet you thought I was going to say incorporate your company). What do you have to do every day in order to be successful? Write it down on a piece of paper. It should look something like this: 9:00AM – Advertise on forums, 11:00AM – Improve PPC Campaigns, 1:00PM – Split test landing page, etc, etc, etc. Think of this as an action plan. You brainstorm the actions you must take so that you can focus every day.

Hopefully these tips were helpful. You can go ahead and use them now. Remember to be consistent and to test things out. Testing is very important. This is me signing off…

Three Must Know Tips For Affiliate Marketing Beginners

Affiliate marketing is perhaps the easiest way to create an income on the internet. You do not need to have your own product or even your own website. As easy as it may be, many affiliates struggle to make a living off of it, and it is probably because they are not following these tips…

Choose One Marketing Strategy

The reason that so many new affiliates are saying “how come I’m not making any money?” is because they want to try everything at once. So many beginners are writing articles, managing a PPC campaign, linking, and creating videos right on their first day of being an affiliate. They try to learn everything at once thinking that they will make more. But the truth is you are just spreading yourself to thin. Go out there and look at all the different strategies. Pick one and stick to it for at least 3 months. It is better and much easier than sticking to 10 things for 3 months.

Stick with One Product

Another thing you should be aware of especially when you are just beginning is that you should only market one or two products. As you start getting more successful, you will be mature enough to market 5 products at a time and so on. The reason you should stick to one in the beginning is because you will be able to soak in more knowledge and experience. You will have more focus. You can improve upon your mistakes and have a clearer view of what is going on.

Find a Mentor

This is the most important part. I bet that you are thinking that it is not worth paying for any kind of knowledge or mentorship. The truth is that you will make money much faster if you just let someone else teach you all the shortcuts. Let them build you a foundation and then just add on to it as you go along with your own experiments. You don’t always have to pay for this kind of help; you can simply just read the articles (or videos) of those whom interest you for free. But they always leave important pieces out. Just buy their stuff and see what can happen.

These tips are yours to keep and to follow. You can either ignore me and move on to reading another article, or you can take my advice and apply this into your own life. Remember to keep on learning and keep on adapting, this is me signing off…

Get Started With Affiliate Marketing the Right Way!

For one reason or another you decided to get involved in affiliate marketing or some other form of online marketing. Regardless of what you are going to do I will try to give you some tips that should help your business take off more smoothly. This will not be one of those “how to get rich quick” guides. While it is possible to make thousands of dollars a day, if you are just starting out, focus on making one sale at a time. This is how real businesses grow and this is by far the fastest way of making money online. Enough chit chat, so how do you get started:

1) Make sure you have realistic goals and expectations. Like I said above it is possible to make a lot of money online. More and more people are using the internet and that means that there are more and more transactions made in the eWorld. If you want to have a piece of this cake you might want to focus on the step you are taking right now. Forget for a second about building a big mailing list if you do not know how to set up an opt in form. Make sure that you know how to set up a blog, Twitter or Squidoo account before you start thinking about lunching a new campaign. Focus on the basics and perfect them instead of looking for that next new trick.

2) Make sure that you are learning from the right people. There are so many educational products coming out every year that I could not even keep track of them, unfortunately not all of them are good. Before buying something look for reviews threw Google or any other search engine. Make sure that the person you are learning from has some experience behind them and is not just another self proclaimed guru who is selling the same rehashed information from years past.

3) Look for free samples or some other way to find out for yourself if the product is worth anything. Most of the guys out there, if they have really quality material, will send you free eBooks, links to some videos and even provide online forums in which you can ask your questions and talk with similar minded folks. Even when you move up to the more advanced stuff expect to see bonuses such as free manuals or training videos. Nothing in this world is free, but a good bargain is something that everyone is entitled to.

These are only 3 quick points but I if you apply them, you will quickly notice that about 70% of products out there just fall to the side. Making money is definitely possible; just make sure you go about it the right way.

3 Keys to Making Money With Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to get started making money online. It requires very little money, no product to develop and no inventory to keep. You can operate your business from just about anywhere in the world. So if it is so easy to get started, why isn’t everyone successful at creating a long term profitable Affiliate Marketing business? The internet is loaded with information on just about every topic imaginable. With all this information just a click away, it’s easy to get side-tracked and lose your focus. Everyone has the latest and greatest way to make money online and it is easy to get caught up in all the hype. The next thing you know is you are going from one business plan to another and never following through to the end on any of them. The bottom line is that it all boils down to 3 keys to success.

The first key is to find a good proven product to sell. There are many ways to accomplish this task but one of the more popular ways is to use the Clickbank Marketplace. You must first find a market that people are spending money on. Preferably this market is something that you are personally interested in or have considerable knowledge about. Once you have found a popular market that people are willing to spend money on, you must then find a product or products that are currently “hot” sellers. Using Clickbank’s gravity numbers and % referred numbers can help you determine which products are hot. Take a look at the sales page of the product. Would you buy it? If not, you need to move on to another product.

Once you find your market and product to offer you must then create an opt in list to promote your product. Most unsuccessful marketers will run an ad or publish an article or two and send the people directly to the product’s sales page. The problem with this is that it usually takes about 7-9 contacts or visits before the average person purchases the product. The worst case scenario is they never purchase the product and you never come in contact with that person again. The best case scenario is the person does purchase the product, you make a commission, and you never come in contact with that person again. The only person that benefits in the long run is the product creator. Their product has sold and they have added the person to their list. In order for you to benefit, YOU must capture the person’s name and email address. This will allow YOU to build a long term relationship with that person and in turn build a long term stable business.

Lastly, you must then drive targeted traffic to your list so you can grow that list and have a large base of people that will know you and trust you and follow your recommendations. You can drive traffic to your website by paying for it, (like Google Ads), or free (like Ezine Articles). The quickest way to get targeted traffic to your list is to use a pay per click search engine like Google or Yahoo. However, you must use caution when using this method because if you don’t do it correctly, it can cost you a lot of money quickly and with minimal result. You must decide what is best for you which will depend on your available budget and time to devote to your business. Usually a combination of both free and paid sources to drive targeted traffic to your list is the best.

So that’s it. If you spend your efforts on these 3 keys to making money with affiliate marketing you will be successful. It’s not necessarily easy but it is simple. Do Not Make It Complicated. The most difficult part is getting started. Once you get started and are seeing results, you will be on your way to creating a strong and profitable business. You can do it. You must be committed to doing it. Then, you must take action. You do not need to do it alone. In fact if you do try to do it alone your chances of success are very slim. However, with a proven business model to follow, a mentor or two to provide guidance, and taking consistent action you can and you will succeed.

OK. Now is the time to take action. Go find a product in a market that people are spending money in. Then create a simple opt in list for people to sign up and start promoting that list every chance you get. Remember to stay focused on your business model and take action every day. You will be successful.

5 Reasons to Reconsider Getting Into Affiliate Marketing

This is probably one of the worst articles for someone like me to write, but I think it will probably save a lot of you some money and frustration. So in the interest of others, here goes.

The first reason has got to be that this is not an easy job. It takes hours of dedication, research and some skill too. All internet marketers will tell you it is super easy, blah, blah, and blah. IT IS NOT. It only becomes easy after months of learning and trial and error, and then it will still take a lot of your time. These people forget how lost they felt when they first started out in this business.

The second reason is that when you start out, you will probably buy a few products, that promises to do all the work for you. The only thing these products do for you is make you poorer, and the guy selling it richer. I come back to this point so many times. If you are going to buy products online, then only buy products that sell information. I equate this to going to school. If you pay money for education, then at least you got something for your buck.

The third reason is that you will probably buy an info product now, and you got there by searching for “make money online”, or some “how to work from home”, or such keyword. I can guarantee you that the first thing they will tell you is to re- advertise the product you just bought. THIS IS HARD. The “make money online” niche is probably the most competitive niche out there. Getting in there when you start from scratch is near impossible, as you are competing with seasoned marketers.

The fourth reason is that if you are middle aged and not used to school, and don’t have the drive to study anymore, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This takes more studying than I have done in my final year at school.

The last, and maybe the most important, is that if you don’t understand that it takes money to make money, then you can just give up now. Sure, the potential gains are pretty attractive, but you only see how much the guy got in. You don’t see how much he spent promoting these products in the first place.

In conclusion, all I can ad is that I hope you take all these things into consideration before you jump in on the deep end. If you can see yourself avoiding these pitfalls, then maybe you have a shot
