For the beginners, Wealthy Affiliate offers an 8-week action plan to help get all marketing newbies up to speed and into the game. While the sheer scope of tools and information offered by Wealthy Affiliate can be intimidating for the beginner, a marketer will find much more room to grow to an advanced level within the Wealthy Affiliate program than in the Profit Lance program; the interaction provided by Wealthy Affiliate’s forum alone will be worth the monthly membership fee to many budding marketers.

How Affiliate Marketing Helped Me After Bankruptcy and Could Maybe Help You Too
Redundancy and bankruptcy Changed my life and now I am living it totally different. My outlook has changed and I want to help others do the same.
I have always been a hard working sole right back to when I left school, yes that’s right i didn’t work hard at school. I found myself working multiple jobs over the years and indeed many many hours.
Well the reason I am here starts back eleven years now. I started working for a company where I live. My job title was a Chemical Engineer. This was great and I started earning some fab money as I wouldn’t leave the boss more than six months before I was on his case for a rise again. However I had this urge to do my own thing, be my own boss, line my own pocket and answer to nobody but me.
I was with this company for ten years but two years into it I started a website course which cost me £3,750. Yeah I now bloody crazy. However I was determined and I made a go of this. Things went great. While I was still working my chemical job I was setting up my own internet advertising business.
The money was getting really good now and I then met my partner and we started a family. Wow. Things are just how I want them. This is what I always imagined my life would be like. We also started a network marketing business together and I invested in a bouncy castle company which made me more good money over the weekends.
I could easily say I was flying. I had property which I rented out. I had a fantastic car which did everything you could imagine and really went some. It was a 407 coupe 3ltr V6 twin turbo GT. It was voice recognition. I even had a sim in the dash and could just ask it to call peeps from my address book. I do miss that car. But I will be purchasing it again and I’m sure you will hear all about it when i do.
So what happened?
Well back in mid 2007 my chemical job announced some redundancy’s. Well I’m safe I thought. Oh no I wasn’t. My £500 a week take home came to an end. Then within two weeks of this happening my Internet company plummeted downwards. I couldn’t explain it really except it was like I had a tap running all that time and somebody had just turned it off. So after loosing my chemical job and then my internet company everything else followed. I went from taking home about £3k – £4k a month to a couple hundred. Everything I had built up had to go bit by bit. I tried all sorts to hang onto things but nothing worked for me. I was falling apart and couldn’t stop.
This led me down the path of bankruptcy early 2008. I felt so low and for a short while but quickly got my head back into action. What helped me through this besides the love of my family is positive reading. You see, I am a firm believer in making your own path in life. I Have a DVD and book on something called the secret. If you haven’t already seen this then you must give it look. You never know it might help you as it did me.
I focused on ways to get back on my feet again. So already being involved in the internet it made perfect sense to look for something I could do on there. This is where I am now really. I have started earning money with affiliate programs and indeed found this corker of an opportunity.
I am now already living back in a large private house and managed four holidays with the kids last year. This is all down to positive thinking. You see, if you continue to think or say you cant do something you cant because you are excepting and programming it that way. If you continue to look up and say you can and you will find a way, you condition yourself to action.
This is Bah Blah to some people but I am living proof. Had I sat back and dwelled after my bankruptcy none of the above would have happened. Anyway I am not hear to preach, this is just my story.
Since I have taken action and now work from home with an online business, I have been helping others in a similar situation to mine.

I know what you are saying, yeah right…success is not as easy as 1-2-3. That’s BULL! Well, the actual sequence of success is very simple, but the actual work that you will have to dedicate may require a bit of sweat, some blood, and a small chance you will shed a couple of tears (hopefully of joy though!)

Research should give you butterflies in your stomach. Research is exciting. Research is where marketers discover audiences that they can promote to, find out how to promote to them, find out why they are buying, what they are buying, and truly learn everything you need to know to be successful within ANY industry.
I get questions all the time surrounding industry selection. It does not matter what industry you are promoting, you CAN MAKE MONEY WITHIN ANY INDUSTRY ONLINE. People are selling pet rocks…how about stars, a piece of toast with Mary’s face on it? Not the best product, but with over 6 billion people in the world, there is an audience for everything and you are leveraging this reach with the Internet.
You are missing the most critical step if you fail to RESEARCH. Make it habit, make it exciting, and make it part of your daily routine. Research when you are just browsing the net….when you are checking out your emails, check the ads within your email account.
This is not refined to just the net. Listen to what you friends and family talk about. People spread things that they are interested in. Listen to offline conversations and then take you research online.
Pick up a book, a magazine, float around an affiliate network, browse some forums, see what people are talking about on Facebook. Research will start with a single idea and can easily be elaborated upon with further research.
Where there is research, there is success. DO NOT START A CAMPAIGN WITHOUT DOING YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!

Affiliate Marketing With Clickbank – Promoting With AdWords
If you don’t already know, Google AdWords is a service Google provides whereby advertisers specify keywords that should trigger their advertisements. They also specify the maximum amount they are willing to pay for each click. When someone searches Google for that specific keyword, the ads are displayed on the right hand side of the page under the ‘sponsored links’ section. Usually the ads that cost the most per click will show on the first page although there are other factors which influence this.
So you have found a profitable market and you know which product you are going to promote. Marketing your ClickBank hoplink is where the fun starts. There are lots of ways to market your link but I’m going to focus on pay-per-click as it is the easiest and fastest way to get traffic. This traffic will be completely targeted because you are going to choose specific keywords to use related to the product.
So the first thing you need to do is create a list of any keywords you will be using. Use a program such as ‘Good Keywords’ to help you with this. Its important to try to use keywords with the least amount of competition. The more competition there is for a specific keyword, the more you will have to pay for each click. You can use google to find out how much competition you have by simply searching on your keywords and seeing how many results are displayed.
Once you have a list of keywords, you are ready to set up a Google AdWords campaign. Sign up for an account with Google at http://adwords.google.com. Click on the tab called ‘Campaigns’ and then click ‘Create New Campaign’. Go through each step carefully to set up your campaign. The title for example is very important as this is the first thing the customer will read and if it does not grab their attention, they will just keep reading and click on someone else’s ad. You only have a certain amount of character spaces you are allowed to use for the title so use them wisely. The next two lines of your ad should be used to tell the customer the main features or benefits of the product. Customers like to see facts so keep that in mind when writing your ads. Then of course you need to type in the URL you want to have displayed at the bottom of your ad. This can be the ClickBank hoplink or a link to your website. Of course, you shouldn’t put the hoplink into the ‘URL displayed’ field.
All that is left for you to do is complete your billing information and set your maximum daily spending limit and bid amount. Google has built in tools to help you to know where your ad will be displayed and how much to bid per click. Keep in mind that it is actually the keywords that determine the cost per click and the ranking on Google’s search pages.

Beginner Affiliate Marketing Tips – The Best Way to Make Money Out of the Gate
An interesting question was posed recently, one where I recognized my own answer in many of the answers given by others. The question was:
If you had to start your internet marketing business over what would you do differently?
My answer is similar to many who have been asked this same questions, but I thought I’d take a minute and answer it here today.
The one thing I would do differently is I would have started with something I already enjoyed and knew a lot about instead of setting up a blog about how to make money online. I could have done stuff on gardening, mental health, living in the country, tons of things, but I didn’t know those were really options.
The only real option that I saw was the “make money” niche. When you first start learning to make money online, it’s not really clear that you can make money talking about ANYTHING!! it doesn’t have to be making money online.
The benefit of choosing a topic outside the internet marketing area is that you have a lot less competition. Not only are there not as many people talking about your topic, but the people that ARE talking about it probably haven’t spent millions of dollars learning how to market online.
So if you keep learning about how to market your website, and your website it outside the internet marketing niche you will have an advantage over many others in your niche. This advantage will allow you to dominate the search engines, drives lots of traffic, become an authority, and make lots of money in that niche
The first couple years I had my first internet marketing blog up I made absolutely no money on it. Really. It’s not that surprising. Here I was someone who knew next to nothing about internet marketing trying to teach other people how to do it. When I think back on it, it’s really kind of silly. Now of course, I make money from my blog, but I could have experienced much more monetary success if I had chosen something I already knew a lot about and had marketed that instead.
